Welcome to UCL Medical Society’s Radiology Section!
Radiology for Finals and Beyond – Saturday 3rd February, 9am-1pm, Royal Free Hospital
Who Are We?
Medical Physics and Medical Imaging in particular has been around for decades, and as we all know, is extremely useful in the treatment of many illnesses. We are a combination of Medical Physicists and Doctors working together to provide you with events which will benefit you and give you an upper edge if you are looking to do Radiology as a career. Having Medical Physicists on the team means that we can give you a glance at imaging strategies but the main focus will be on diagnosis of illness and distinguishing different details on images taken using various imaging modalities.
What We Do
We want to make sure we make it easy for you to get to where you want to be, because we believe in the creation of great radiologists and medical professionals. Therefore, we provide you with informative and exciting events on how to interpret and analyse medical images from a number of different imaging modalities, from X-rays and Nuclear Medicine to Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI/NMR). We will guide you through the anatomical structures and how to search for potential problems in medical images, through our series of lectures and other events.
If you have any questions regarding events, or general enquiries, please contact the radiology section head, Aasim Patel via email:
